Flashback is the first time I had played a game that was considered a cinematic platformer, and while the controls took a bit to get used to, once I had learned them, I had quickly grown to love this game.
Contra Hard Corps is the first and only Contra game for the Sega Genesis.
This one has the same kind of crushing difficulty as Contra III, however this one does offer branching paths and multiple endings which increases the game's replay value if you manage to get through the gauntlet of pain.
