There’s a huge divide in Mexican vs American culture. Mexicans will always see their global neighbors as friends, and greet them with warmth, joy, y un abrazo (a hug). America greets EVERYONE (even its own citizens) with suspicion and contempt.
The two are neighbors yet couldn’t be more different.
