Jennie shared her inspiring journey running a nursery and the difference that access to finance has made in helping her grow and sustain vital early years provision for local families.
It was also valuable to hear more about the role of CDFIs and the wider support ecosystem, including the importance of partnership working with institutions such as Lloyds Banking Group to back small businesses.
Wolverhampton Pride 🌈
Last week, I was pleased to visit BCRS Business Loans and meet with one of their customers, Jennie (Paton) McMahon, Director of Limes Court Nursery School, which is based in my Wolverhampton West constituency.
Very grateful to Shree Krishan Mandir for the invitation to attend their annual Pran Pratistha Mahotsav programme.
Glad to catch up with Chris Allen to talk all things Wolverhampton and Pride in Place.
This award is a testament to the outstanding work of the staff, leadership team, parents, and pupils who have built a school community where families feel welcomed, valued, and involved in their children's education.
It was a pleasure to visit Bantock Primary School on the back of becoming the first school in the UK to achieve Parent-Friendly School accreditation.
I was especially impressed by the thoughtful and engaging questions from the pupils, who are a real credit to the school. As you can see from my smile, I am in my happy place in the immersive experience room!
