People tell me I'm insane for this but literally the thing we are worried about, the thing that will cause Social Security to be insolvent- is that we are worried that the government will no longer owe money to itself. So just loan yourself more money!

As I've said before, The US Treasury could lend $1 trillion to itself, then place the bond holdings in the Trust Fund. The Trust Fund is solvent again!
But sure do away with the senior tax break from the Big Beautiful Bill. But increase payroll taxes? God no.
