CON-GO: Conservation on the go
Plant & Animal Ecology Lab (PAELLA)
Context: this speech is from SIR THOMAS MORE, a history written, as near as scholars can tell, in the early 1600s by 6 or 7 people including Dekker, Heywood, Chettle, Shakespeare, and Munday. It was never performed, because Jacobean England was a police state and it was banned by the censor.
El próximo jueves dia 30 de Abril habrá una charla del personal del Instituto Jane Goodall-Congo en la ETSI Montes. Asistencia gratuita 🐒🐒🌱🌍

We monitored 42 territories during 4 years. We expected that their diet varied according with land use in their territory, but it didn't. However, elevation was a powerful predictor of their diet. #RaptorResearch #OpenAccess #Aequilibrium
🚨🚨NEW PAPER🚨🚨 Our last paper got published in @jzoology.bsky.social Using camera traps in the nests we showed that Golden eagles changed their diet with elevation rather than land use. 🦅🦅🐐🐍🪶 #RaptorResearch #Aequilibrium

Elevation, rather than land use, causes important dietary shifts in the Mediterranean golden eagle

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again. #Pinks #ProudBlue
