The Guardian's coverage hasn't been bad, but come on...

Guardian, why are we calling this a "protest"? This was a far-right riot, and I'd argue that it was a domestic terrorist attack.
When nazi thugs march through the streets, setting fire to the homes of migrants, that is no time to soften and sugarcoat language.

ABC Councillor Lenny Zhou has been lying to and misleading Vancouver's Chinese-speaking community by slandering COPE Councillor Sean Orr.
He has apologised to English speakers, but never set the record straight to the community he midled, on WeChat, in Mandarin.

Tonight, my @ndp.ca Bill C-247 to uphold the right to strike and repeal Section 107 of the Canada Labour Code will be debated in the House of Commons. (1/2)
Canadians do not want a surveillance state, now or in the future.
Prime Minister Carney and his Conservative-Liberal alliance must reverse course immediately.
3/ For the safety of Canadians, we need to stop Bill C-22 immediately. Demand withdrawal. Keep pestering your MP to vote NO for the bill, and sign Petition e-7416, sponsored by @jennykwan.bsky.social which calls to withdraw or vote against the bill at every stage!

2/ Usually, when an MP gets this much contact on an issue, it's in opposition to something. That's a great sign!
The Liberals are already cracking under pressure, but we cannot settle for amendments. Bill C-22 must be stopped fully in its tracks.

1/ I just called the office of my Liberal MP, Dr. Hedy Fry, to ask how she would vote on Bill C-22. The staff member informed me that they do not yet have an answer, but they have been INUNDATED with calls, letters, and emails from constituents regarding the bill. π
