🤔 Take your students through our interactive stories and encourage them to ask questions and think critically about their relationship with the natural world.
Then they draw themselves as learners and add the people, objects, places, and tools that help them think, focus, and take part. It gives teachers a simple way to start a conversation about what each child may need to learn best.
At the center is the artwork Colorful Classroom by Ariane Jackson, a contribution from our partner Embracing Our Differences. Using the painting as a starting point, students look closely, reflect on what supports their learning, and complete the sentence: “I learn best when…”
What can old classrooms, sea creatures, monster soup, and botanical adventures teach us about protecting the planet? 🌍 This World Environment Day, explore our exhibition, "Making the Environment Matter", and discover how children have learned about nature and the environment across history.
From Dust Bowls and climate migration to deadly plants and bird conservation, the exhibition brings educational artefacts, artworks, and science to life.
