I'm hoping #DisclosureDay won't be his last film but 24 hours after watching it, I suddenly realised the beautiful symmetry of its casting Wyatt Russell, son of Goldie Hawn who was in Spielberg's first theatrical release, The Sugarland Express.

"YUP! ENERGY! YES!!! Love it. LOVE it. The beginning the middle and the end. Fits my mood PERFECTLY. Thank you!!" - a friend's reaction to a story I sent her. I guess every story has its ideal reader! (Hope the lit mag I subbed it to are anything like as keen.) #amwriting

I thought it was entertaining, well made. Not particularly profound. A good Speilberg job. While watching, strange memories flashed in my mind. After the film, I started to shake uncontrollably and couldn't speak. Like sobbing without tears, though tears came eventually. Weird. I can't ever be sure.

I ADORE Franny & Zoey, a book that I loved at 20 but enjoyed even more on a revisit a few years back.
