VicPD were made aware of the allegation against Kayiatos in April 2025, according to chief Fiona Wilson. Kayiatos continued to work until he was suspended with pay in May 2026.
It was a beautiful sunny day to come together in community and solidarity with our unhoused neighours. As the city steps up sweeps - no matter what it calls them - we're trying to "provide the services that the city should be providing in these circumstances."
