Hahaha, new Smallville headcanon.
Once you realize that John Byrne draws kids' faces like smaller adult faces you can never unsee it. (IS it a baby, Martha?)
On the other hand, I like how Byrne shows us Lois and Clark feeling like they're the only people in the world for a beautiful moment before noticing they're very much not. Some smooth narration from the old jerk there.
