I had a perfectly good phone be rendered useless by an update. It was older yes but the hardware was fine. The fun part was the fact that after a certain amount of time, the update would force install, so even if I managed to run an older version of the software, it'd break again 🙃

I remember when updates were exciting and coveted! Now it's like forced inconvenience russian roulette. Will this update brick my device only for those who forced it to shrug and push a solution of buying a new one? Will it make the user experience actively hostile? I could rant about this so much!

I think he would actually partake in giant hole digging activities at the beach. I'm not sure why, but my gut is telling me he would. #ffxiv #wol #lore #gamingscreenshots
