I get the impulse for autistic people to want to respond by saying that they DID go to college or play baseball or date and work. But that still plays into ableist narratives. Even if an #ActuallyAutistic person does none of these, they still have worth.
I clocked that something shady was possibly afoot when Pokemon Go was asking for way more data than it needed the week of launch, and deleted it immediately. I’m not at all surprised that that they’re selling all the data they collected to whoever will buy it.
There’s actually an opportunity for Hearthstone to legitimately get me, a non-WoW enjoyer, interested in random Warcraft lore through these events, but instead they just slap some random names a non-WoW player has never seen before on event quests and call it a day. ☹️
