We argue that public acquisition doesn't just mean paying anything an operator wants: here, we think market value is ~$0, and buying out the workforce might be ~$5b, but the climate damages avoided via closure versus a BAU /that accounts for asset lifespan/ are $1 trillion. Official BAUs are worse.
