I actually believe Democrats like @repdelbene.bsky.social voting to fund genocide is more controversial than....not doing that.
Also, it's important that Democrats understand that the hypocrisy is not something that mainstream media is going to call out and hammer home on its own. If they want this to be something people talk about, they need to be the ones constantly posting about it/talking about it/introducing bills over.
This is another direct attack on Congress' power of the purse.
It is impeachable.
@repdelbene.bsky.social this is your Constitutional power. Given to you by your constituents to guard for them. Their rights are at stake.
Will you not defend them? Do you not care?
The WA Democratic delegation to the House has a lot of weak, do nothing, establishment Democrats.
They just sit by and collect their corporate and AIPAC checks while Trump and Republicans destroy the country.
It's time to change our party.
They are hopping mad but they destroyed the party of Reagan to please Trump and are now living with the consequences. Hell, Cassidy himself has had a central role to play (e.f., his confirmation vote for RFK). So spare me the histrionics, this is the grave you dug, Senator.
Support Democrats who will defend the Constitution and force impeachment.

Support not doing that.

To every single democrat politician and mouthpiece who stays silent or refuses to denounce genocide against ALL people both internationally and here at home:
The fascists will eventually come for you too. They always do.
And when they come for you, we the people can be outraged. Or ambivalent.

The reason "pallettes of cash" became such a sticky anti-JCPOA talking point is because it's vivid - you can hold an image of it in your mind's eye. "$300 billion" sounds like a lot of money but doesn't connect with people the same way. Dems should consider this in crafting talking points
