I wish there was a book like Galaxy when I was a kid which is a really hopeful thought. sometimes it feels like all we can do is helplessly watch the world get worse for the next generation, but a book like this existing at this dangerous time to be a queer person is a glimpse of a better world.

What I love about both the movie and this comic is that deeply unsettling feeling like you’re seeing something you’re not supposed to, which is a hallmark of @cjward.bsky.social narrative skill as an artist and it’s retained as a writer. What a deeply scary comic.
