The idea that this is the only plan on the table is absurd for many reasons even in the absence of another proposal. For example, the US and Europe could mandate today that unlimited, unrestricted aid be flooded into Gaza. They could decouple the reconstruction element from disarmament.
Invite the PA in now instead of in 5 years. Demand that Israel allow presidential elections to be held in occupied Palestinian territory including EJ within the year. Demand that Area C be handed over to the PA by the end of the summer. End trade with settlement goods. Enforce the ICJ 2024 ruling/
