Today we celebrated the 85th birthday of my mentor, Prof. Hermann Wagner, on a wonderful day at the Ammersee.
Many of his former mentees now hold (or held) chairs in medical microbiology or immunology, carrying forward his standards, curiosity, and academic rigor. Happy Birthday Hermann!
