Term limits are a great way to make everything you hate about the RI General Assembly worse, solely to get rid of a handful of legislators who serve more than eight years.
Feels like a cruel trick that we have to spend so much time getting doctors’ notes stating that our kid is okay to go to daycare only for him to then get sick with something he likely caught at daycare. Good thing we also pay for the days he’s not attending!

I genuinely never thought I would live through a period where the U.S. government was so erratic and unstable that even the basic fundamental communications over something as consequential as "are we in active combat or not" were impossible to parse as being entirely fabricated or not.
