I wanna get into the habit of drawing characters I've never drawn before at a faster rate to prepare for Art Fight in July. I figured drawing the gen 1 #Pokémon would be a great way to practice

The hardest part about this drawing was figuring out how to make #Metapod interesting. I eventually landed on giving it kinger eyes. (Don't be surprised if I do this with Kakuna too...)

Here's a version of Dashie that's fully shaded. I don't often do shading that's more detailed than just the normal 2/3 tone shading I typically do, so enjoy this! The simple body shape didn't make this too hard to do.
