Posting a few weeks late -but happy (happy?) to announce that the mosquito season is now underway Scotland. Here is an egg raft (dark, bullet shaped object floating on water) of Culex pipiens - collected in Glasgow, May 1st. Let us know if see mosquitoes in Scotland here ⬇️
