Super interesting, from Prof. Jeff Ollerton: why should lawyers care about understanding pollinator declines? I couldn't have answered that, but Jeff explains and it's compelling. http://jeffollerton....
Interested in a PhD working on sexual selection in tropical shorebirds? I'm recruiting a student for Fall 2027! I'm happy to support an applicant writing a Simons Graduate Fellowship in Ecology & Evolution: www.simonsfoundation.org/grant/simons...
Some cool work that my (former, now fully minted) Ph.D. student @twoleglaura.bsky.social did on the impacts of herbicide on honey bee behavior and brains when she was in my lab. This study was published last year, but it got some renewed interest today. Great stuff, Laura!

Do any of you have an AI policy document for your lab group clearly stating expectations regarding student / postdoc use of LLMs in background research, coding, writing, reviewing, etc? I'd be interested in a model as we develop one.
We are recruiting 🌟2 postdoctoral researchers🌟 for a NERC Large Grant project on the eco-evolutionary dynamics of badger - bovine tuberculosis (bTB) interactions.
