Hemingway never had to make his own website. Poe didn't attend to social media. Austin didn't sell her books at author tables. Twain didn't have to learn how to do Amazon ads. Steinbeck didn't blog.
But this is the reality of being a modern writer. Only ~10% of my time is actually spent writing.
