According to Yoko Kanno, the finale of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie was originally meant to be scored with the song No Reply sung by Steve Conte.
However, because Gotta Knock A Little Harder was meant to play just after it, the song made the finale feel too bloated, so it was cut:
