Watching #BeyondtheGates while a live weather warning scrolls at the bottom of the screen… We just had at least four tornadoes touchdown three days ago… is kind of surreal. Also, I cut the video to spare you the “catching of the blood.“IYKYK
I wish they would’ve thought about that for everyone else! So many actors and actresses in black and the scenes are just too dark!
So today I took #BeyondtheGates off of my “record episodes“ list. It is the hardest of all the shows. I will no longer be watching on that network. It’s also the last I let go. I will wonder what happens to Pete on “ghosts” and I will miss Maddie Matlock, but we’re done here. #CBS
Much like how photographers often don’t know how to photograph darker skin, these episodes win no awards for whatever it is that they should’ve done to make sure characters are identifiable and everyone is lit properly.Tamara is lit beautifully, and her light gown helps.

I admit, I took #BeyondtheGates off of my “record” list this week because of CBS. However, I couldn’t help but tune in today because of the tornado! It looks like a great episode, but I feel like the lighting is terrible. I know they’re supposed to be in a tornado but…
