I don't reread this every summer because the images it conjured the first time are permanently burned into my brain so I remember the signs just fine. But do give it a read if you're not familiar.

Durham on fine form once more today. 29 degrees, plus gentle breeze, definitely fills a Colombian-beaches-shaped hole in my soul. Adding vodka to ready made chocolate milkshake also highly recommended for bank holiday relaxation.
