Wolverine mamas do most of the work raising the kits.
Dads still help! But they sometimes have two or even three families they travel between, taking time to help each one. Those with only one family tend to pull a lot more weight with the kits, however.

Wolverines are facultative scavengers, meaning we scavenge when the circumstances allow/necessitate it. We do hunt, too, but if it's easier to steal someone else's food, we'll do it!

While it's very hard to see, Wolverines actually have horizontal pupils!
This gives us a slightly wider field of view and keeps the ground in focus, aiding in things like situational awareness and navigation of uneven terrain!

Theres fluff and then there's FLOOF. Wolverine fur is long, dense, fine, and oily; all traits that help it repel moisture and prevent snow and ice buildup.

Wolverine kits are born between Feb-March when deep snow is abundant. In some cases, these snow dens can have branching networks of tunnels up to 60m in total length, with multiple rooms used for different purposes like food storage or bathrooms!
