ok, for me at least. yes i envy all you who enjoy drawing all the time. yeah i get it, its part of you or whatever
also if you want your art to look playful, you have to be playing. and thats the hardest part.
because then you can sell the first drawing on meh paper and then spend that on nice paper!! yknow assuming youve eaten, paid rent, paid your phone bill etc etc lol
i mean also, the real skill is to be able to treat nice paper like its nothing. its not actually good to get hung up on tools
i mostly draw on cheap paper but for anything i need to be “finished” i do use slightly nicer papet
paper id expensive and i get it… but if you ever want to be able to use nicer paper without any restraint, you have to buy an insane amount of said paper. it needs to feel like an abundant resource. this is obviously complicated but a very real thing
