CCTSI researcher Joseph Schacht, PhD, is studying how semaglutide (GLP‑1 meds like #Ozempic) could help treat #alcohol use disorder. Findings from his study at our Clinical Translational Research Center show reduced alcohol cravings, consumption, and heavy drinking days. ▶️ buff.ly/oreXkVG

Is a cure for osteoarthritis on the horizon? Researchers from @cuengineering.bsky.social, @cuanschutz.bsky.social & @colorado.edu developed injected proteins to regrow bone and cartilage. Funded by ARPA-H, they aim to begin human testing within 18 months. 👉 buff.ly/biOsmaH
Labs use up to 10x more energy than offices, but they don’t have to. The CCTSI's CTRC Core Lab is among the first at @cuanschutz.bsky.social to earn Green Lab Certification, reducing energy use, waste, and emissions while supporting hundreds of clinical research studies each year.
