Good piece of myth-busting (based on expertise from VUB colleague Ily Hollebeke). It's a pity that the text only applies these insights to examples of elite multilingualism: why not ask a few members of families that speak Lingala, Arabic or Vietnamese? That's where we need myth busting the most.
