Lots of random stuff.
Collection Assistant at the SFC, so sometimes a little of that.
Shaw or Bradshaw, please. Never Brad. :) My parents did a weird dual name thing. It's confusing. Their fault, not yours.

Portland continues to face an ash problem. The Oregon National Guard helps wash away remnants from the June 12/13 eruption.
Closer to Mount St. Helens, search crews scour Elk Rock for signs of photographer Arlene Edwards, mother of Jolene and Roxanne, missing since May 18.
Todd Rundgren's first production credit. I love this album, it was tough to find anywhere for a while. One day maybe 12 years ago I found some sketchy download site and grabbed it and Chambers Brothers - New Generation. Both are much easier to find these days, but that was a great day of discovery!
My 1/2 Italian dad was a baseball loving/playing (not bad for a scrawny runt - played in a hs all star game with Davey Lopes) high school junior/senior in N. Providence, RI when Conigliaro broke through. He still mentions how heartbreaking it all was, especially for Italian fans, I think.
This was not perfect, but I loved every second of it, especially Aldo Ray and Bancroft. It looks super cool (not this trailer). Good use of flashbacks. Had never even heard of it, did a Tourneur double feature yesterday morning with it and Out of the Past (which I had seen many times).

Feeling hot & dusty like this Michael Hurley tune today. Someone needs to do an oral history with all the old heads in Richmond who remember him. This is from 1998, which I believe was the same time the Pelt guys were living nearby his place. B side Wildegeeses.
