One from the vaults! Another place early John Blanche art appeared was the magazine White Dwarf, with him doing the cover for issue 4 (Dec/Jan 1977/78), and doing the very first cover in full colour for issue 7 (June/July 1978)

In 1979 David Day brought out A Tolkien Bestiary a glorious tome exploring the many denizens of Middle Earth illustrated b ya host of artists including several pieces by a young John Blanche!
Quick question folks - just recording a podcast on the 1970s TV series Gemini Man, and it seems like the title or any reason for it, is ever given in the show itself. Does anyone else know why he was the Gemini Man?

One from the vaults! In 1977, Games Workshop got the license to print Dungeons and Dragons here in the UK. While the Basic Box Set by J. Eric Holmes, retained the original cover, Game Workshop also sold the rulebook on its own, but with a new cover by John Blanche
