I am exicted for the upcoming LEGO City 60511 Vintage Steam Train. However I thought it needed improving.
I raised the back half of the boiler and steam dome up 1 plate each. I also did some alternate steam domes for fun.

Another update:
Removed the 44728 bracket on the boiler, the front gold ring is now the 60474 round plate. Changed the smokebox handle back to the old one using the 6587 technic axle.
More modifications using the actual build of the set itself.
I've made a new smokebox design and moved the chimney back a bit for the middle light to fit on top.
Also gave the front the magnetic buffers
