This is very interesting. Most fans thought this was a bad idea for a company with such stringent copyright enforcement. Curious to find out what happens to Disney’s investment but it gets D’Amaro out of a potentially problematic deal that Iger made.

Open AI is shutting down its generative AI video platform Sora. As a result, Disney is now ending its deal with the company, which included a $1 billion investment in OpenAI and an agreement to license some of its characters for use on Sora.
