Mostly driven by the fact that cis gentry pointedly try to redefine "working class" in ways that divorce it from money and power.
That a handful of trans gentry have outsize media/political influence, *really* don't like to talk about class and have contempt for most trans folks also doesn't help.
if you're transgender, you have hope in your life, always. you should focus in on that and reach for it and live the best life you fuckng can even if it feels stupid or pointless or silly to think that you'll make it that long. because what the fuck else is there to do? what do you have to lose?
