good read, and I'm strongly pro both firm-level and sectoral bargaining, but on the analysis side, I think it's an open question whether deskilling is a long-term trend or a phenomenon local to jobs and industries as they get automated. is the median worker today deskilled compared to 50 years ago?

And @strange.website nails the key point: it doesn’t matter if so-called AI “works.” What matters is that the value of your labor goes down, and workers are pushed further into precarity.
