GDTN - Following the opening of its new Terminal 3, Frankfurt Airport has officially closed Terminal 2 to passenger traffic, marking the start of a long-term refurbishment and modernisation programme valued at approximately €1.5 billion. Terminal 2 is scheduled to reopen in the mid-2030s.
