Do you think I should make a GoFundMe to help raise funds to buy and secure a home, or is that too selfish/not a good enough reason?
For context: I have some savings, and would be getting a home loan, and donations would help those savings and thus help me apply for a better loan. The housing market in my city is stupidly expensive.
The fucking *stress* of not having a secure place to live...fucking hell it sucks.
With the amount I can loan now, I can't really seem to afford anywhere in the city. There's me, my mum, and my brother, so there's three of us. Even if mum lives in the living room of places, there's not much.
Yeah, maybe a GoFundMe isn't ideal.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm Chris, aka Iantos, a gay furry in his mid-30's, living in Melbourne, Australia. Currently living with my mother, and brother - me and mum have some mental health disabilities, and my brother has recently decided to be her carer. (1/3)
Lived in the same house for nearly 30 years, but our landlord is selling the place, so we have to move pretty soon. We've been looking at places but had no luck yet. We're looking to rent, or maybe even try to take out a bank loan to buy (we'd need more in savings for that to be realistic). (2/3)
