Animation and live action artists are often treated like tools, not respected, and we seldom get any reward when a project does well. If an indie project gets picked up by a major studio, often the pay for the artists doesnāt improve? I donāt know everything but imho thatās messed up.
Sucks that I worry about trying a new anime with a male mc and seriously worry whether Iām gonna get hit in the face with yucky sexualized too young girl characters or fan service that makes me uncomfortable. I feel like I need like a ādoes the dog dieā but instead itās do they make a 12 yo sexy.
Yes itās work for hire and the contract doesnāt give us anything on the backend. But I think it shouldnāt be that way. š»
