It was clear from yesterday’s meeting with Stephenson and Kirkpatrick, that they and the EHRC are unfit to be the caretakers of equality and protection from discrimination in this country.
Their Code of Practice is nothing more than a pogrom against the trans community done through legislation.
Claire is absolutely right to highlight the hypocrisy of the rioters.
There is systemic violence against women that never gets challenged.
Then you wonder why that is? Why don’t these men come out onto the streets to protest?
Then you realise that some of the worst perpetrators are those who riot.
MPs & many others are recognising the need for legislative review to fix the horrific mess created by the SC ruling.
This petition can give further opportunity for MPs to push for this. Not brilliantly worded, I know, but doing good numbers so worth backing👍

So RTD is gone, and Dr Who is now up for ‘competitive tender’.
Amazing how some people are getting all ‘fearful’ now they’re worried that hate has started knocking on their door.
Of course, when it’s a minority they think they can stand on the sidelines and ‘debate’ about, the ensuing intolerance that such ‘debate’ contributes towards that minority is ignored.
I’d assume there are legal actions cooking in the background. Given the 7 week timetable, I’d be very worried if our domestic court fails to grant an interim remedy.
Councillors from the same party who are banning promotion of International Women’s Day in libraries are also saying this. I cannot think of a neater example of why gender critical ‘feminism’ is a massive own goal.
I get the impression that some people aren't clear what this means. This is the UK state deciding to intervene directly in the healthcare of individual children, depriving them of medicine that their doctors have prescribed for their personal health & wellbeing, in defiance of global best practice.

Remember that the NHS told trans kids, who were currently on endocrine care, that they would be allowed to continue.
Now it looks like they’re withdrawing that as well.
The NHS is a danger to everyone in the trans community.

It’s important that we have multiple orgs fighting on different fronts, and TSA are top notch campaigners
I have signed the fatal motion on the code of practice.
The answers to the questions I raised below - and to those from other committee members - fell far short of anything workable, just or fair.
We need leaders who can spell out what's happening clearly and with force.
