All the leather I use comes from animals that are killed for their meat, which i understand comes with its own host of ethical concerns, but its my line in the sand to draw and thats where ive drawn it. I WILL use exotics, just not croc or gator. Sorry but I'm not flexible on this
Ive had a few people reach out to me asking if I could make them alligator or crocodile wallets and my answer is no. The vast majority of these leathers come from endangered or protected animals farmed expressly for their hides and I find that unethical.
Here is the waxed purple after 3 months in my pocket. Faded to a nice eggplant purple and should become even more purple over time. Starts off as a very deep almost black purple
