Are MPAs in the transition zone between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea effective? We have mapped cumulative effects of multiple stressors in the Skagerrak. Anchored in this, and a statistical model, we have compared pressures within outside the MPAs. Most MPAs are so-called 'paper parks'.
High‑resolution global maps revealing the expansion risk of thousands of non-native plant species under today’s conditions and future climate and land‑use scenarios have been produced for the first time. 🗺️
