I love comparing the density of American and Canadian cities because it's always surprisingly stark!
Both of these cities are at the same scale, have a metropolitan population of ~1.5 Million and both are in the middle of the great plains. Yet Calgary is so much more compact than OKC!

I always thought this network plan was utterly insane, but knowing now that much of it is/could be single tracked makes it so much funnier
