I recently recalled that a sitcom called SLICE O' LIFE, starring Janeane Garofalo and Marc Maron as newspeople, was entirely cancelled by ABC mere days before it was supposed to start shooting in 2003 & there were always strong suspicions it was due to Garofalo's outspokenness against the Iraq War.

Pulling this one out again over OBSESSION having paid their crew indie rates to bring their film in at an ultra-low budget without sharing any of the windfall now that it's a blockbuster and lots of outspoken people who think that's just fine.
