Deeply disappointed in PAS, a conference I was looking for to presenting my education curriculum about gender affirming care at next year.
When you bring in or allow speakers who do not practice evidence based medicine, push back should be expected.
Handing out an article from an ADA journal outside a speaker’s talk at ADA is the absolute mildest form of push back.
Yet still they brought in the cops.

Scientists ejected from diabetes conference for distributing journal reprints of editorial critical of the Trump administrations's ongoing attacks on science. Those ousted included ADA journal editor-in-chief Steven Kahn and former ADA president Desmond Schatz arstechnica.com/science/2026...
1. Last week, we reported on an anti-trans conversion therapy panel that was snuck onto the PAS conference, a premier academic pediatric conference.
It appears the event was a major flop, with heavy protests and a half empty room.

We absolutely should not give these grifters a voice. We absolutely should not legitimize their positions at national medical conferences. By doing so, it not only gives them a national platform, but also makes it seem like the medical community as a whole supports their opinions.
