Mixtec wood turquoise mosaic mask, deity associated with Dzahui or aspects of Venus and solar/warrior deities, depending on the codex's context, 1400–1521CE. This is an example of exquisite Mixtec art from before the conquest of the region, but unfortunately its whereabouts after 1945 are unknown.
