A leaf fell down from her hair, landing right before her feet. She placed her heel on top of it, nervously smiling.
"This... doesn't look like a city yet."

“Sounds like it's your problem now. If I were you I wouldn't ask directions from a vampire in the middle of the forest. Hold on tight, though.”
It took him about ten seconds to reach the main road in the forest. Here she shouldn't get lost again.

Wow, wow, wow!!! March made a squeaking sound of surprise and awkwardly placed her arms on him.

Not that she minded to be carried — by someone she knew. But this guy was a stranger with creepy red eyes on a planet with vampires. He probably was one.

She points in a random direction, unsure where the city is.

“Your way back to where? Where did you come from exactly?”

She protested, "I'm sober! Maybe i wasn't paying attention. Could you help me find my way back, pretty please?"
She looks so foreign, and she has leaves in her pink hair, and fresh bandages on her body.

” Odd. This forest never had any straight roads. You might be drunk.”
He still didn't approach her in case she was sent by the Saint Inquisition.

"Yeah! Sorta. I swear, it's as if the path changed or something. I don't remember it having so many turns before, in fact, it looked pretty straight to me, but..."
She spreads her palms in defeat.

Alhaitham ignored her question.
“Are you lost?” he asked with a cocky voice as he crossed his arms.

She jumped. It was a jump caused exclusively by positive emotions, with zero hint of fear or anxiety. Her teeth clanked — from good vibes, too.
"Ah. Here you are, haha."
March fixed her hair with a shaking hand.
"I knew I heard someone. Um... Are you from the city?"

A sigh.
She seemed pretty lost and she was relatively close to his house. Might have wandered to it anyway.
Alhaitham took a step from the tree, revealing his presence.
“Well hello there.”
His red eyes gleamed in the darkness.

She just kept turning around like a pegtop.
"Hello!! Where are you? Haha... Stelle is this you?.."

Alhaitham squinted and lurked a bit. A girl? Her attire looked like she wasn't from the city for sure. Was she lost?

She would never dream of disturbing anybody's peace, really! But she got a bit lost wandering around the forest next to the city, and when she heard a noise she immediately called, "Who's there?!"

The moon's appeared over the city again. This meant that Alhaitham could finally leave the house without an umbrella.
And so he went out.
Let's just hope no Hunters will try to disturb his peace like yesterday.
Or any other person, really.
