Big thanks to @finmilligan.bsky.social for the shout out on his Happening Again blog, for the satan tour of Shipley and Saltaire via my album covers: happeningagain.substack.com/p/happening-...
Weirdly, this odd little ambient tape I did years ago always comes up in conversation as it got some unexpected love from some people who don't usually like my stuff, so as I'm feeling generous this morning, have some codes:

Every time I see a Powerade Hydration Break™ at this horrible world cup, I instantly think of this
It's here if anyone was interested in seeing where a lot of my album covers are based: blogaboutsatan.blogspot.com/2026/06/a-to...
Yeah, fair enough
Just rewatched Outland, aka the Sean Connery western in space, and it's just so fucking good. Not to be one of those insufferable dorks, but the 4k looks a million dollars too. What a film, way better than I remembered it being, and I remembered it being fucking class.
As always, the album is here if you'd prefer to listen to it first:

Never pass up a chance to share this story. There's always someone who hasn't heard it, always someone waiting to experience the joy of reading about it for the first time.

A random shower thought I had the other day was just how many photos of Shipley and Saltaire end up on my album covers, and if you ever had ...
One of my favorite Cabo Verde facts is that it has a genre of music that arose after an abandoned ship washed up in 1968, carrying hundreds of keyboards and synths
A new compilation documents the strange history of the African country’s groove-laden sound, formed following the discovery of a boatload of synths
