I never planned to post this publicly. In fact, I had completed this piece back in Spring of 2024 as an independent study capstone for my undergraduate degree. I was just scared of posting it back in the day due to the sensitive issues that inspired this piece.
So what was happening- well in short I was stuck dealing with an inappropriate dynamic with a mentor figure. It was awful and confusing and even years later, I still wonder if it was my fault. I have zero desire to talk about it or relieve it.
