The shared history between moe. and Umphrey's McGee runs incredibly deep and the love the bands have for each other after so many years has been displayed on a nightly basis as their moe.ment.UM tour has kicked off. Seeing a stripped down collaboration of just Al and Brendan last night was special.

I realized after posting this that my first show 30 years ago was exactly 30 years ago last night. It's been one hell of a ride since that night in 1996.

Dave Matthews Band was my first concert a little over 30 years ago this spring. It's a joy to be able to still experience so many of the songs I loved back then (and still do to this day) performed by a band that still nails every tune.

Getting a chance to see two of your favorite bands share a bill is great in and of itself. Getting a chance to see them perform together in an encore is incredibly special. Looking forward to catching a few more shows on this tour and seeing what collaborations await.

Trey briefly paused 5/29/26's The Inlaw Josie Wales twice to loudly (and politely) whisper:
"I don't want to interrupt your conversation" and "I'm kind of polite that way. I can wait til you're done."
I've never heard him acknowledge people talking during his shows but love how he handled it.
