Today at City Hall, council votes on the Long Range Financial Plan To Kick The Can Down The Road So The Next Council Needs To Make The Hard Decisions To Raise Taxes Or Sell Off Facilities And Not Us (LRFPTKTCDTRSTNCNTMTHDTRTOSOFANU).
Many people are safe streets advocates, not because they had a fantastic trip to Europe, but because our car culture has had life-altering consequences for them here at home.

Nice to see some higher density housing near St-Joseph. They fit nicely in the neighbourhood. They just need better active transportation. Now you choose between desire lines and stroads to get anywhere.
If anyone is wondering why our MUPs are in bad shape, I don't think they were designed for water tankers. I am not sure if they were servicing a private pool or trees. Either way, big trucks should not be destroying MUPs and blocking them when kids are going to school.

Public pool would be replaced by private pools that are much more expensive and don't create community. The same can be said of parks, recreational facilities, sports facilities, etc. Bad roads lead to car repairs. Lack of complete streets force households to buy cars. Municipal taxes have great ROI
